|
David W. Yancey directs real estate and mortgage acquisitions and property management at Crown Capital. Mr. Yancey earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in 1970. Following graduation he was employed as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Stanford. In 1974, Mr. Yancey earned his law degree (Juris Doctor) from Stanford University. During law school Mr. Yancey was a member of the Stanford Review Law and served as a clerk for the California Supreme Court. Following law school, Mr. Yancey practiced law as an attorney for the San Francisco law firm of Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison. There he specialized in banking, real estate, foreclosure, partnership and tax law. He has taught for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America School of Mortgage Banking and is a published author on issues relating to real estate and finance. Mr. Yancey is a licensed attorney, real estate broker and former California State Probate Referee and Appraiser.
